Last week Chipolino visited Miziya to meet the children from the affected by the floods town. There were, of course, many presents for the people in need – strollers, play pens, tricycles, doll strollers…Sections of the local school were under repairs and the teachers and students were excited about the many visits they were expecting that day. While we were at the school, there were free eye examinations, as a part of the initiative “Warm Heart” of the Embassy of Israel in cooperation with Bulgarian Red Cross and The Organization of Jews in Bulgaria. A couple of hours later the Ambassador of Israel visited the students and donated school essentials to the first graders.
