Another successful blood donation campaign was carried out in Chipolino

Eighty-nine. This is the number of blood donors who responded only for a day in MaxEurope Holding, part of which Chipolino and Maxcom are. Those employees donated blood for free and stroke a record of the greatest number of blood donors at the action organized together with the Regional Center for Transfusion hematology in the town of Plovdiv.

Since the very first initiation of this campaign, which has been running on an annual basis for at least 10 years, this edition was the most successful one in terms of the number of people who took part in it. We are so happy because it is a measurement of the extent of corporate conscience and social responsibility that MaxEurope was able to cultivate in its employees.

There are no words to describe the importance of such an action as its purpose is to help people resume their lives. In addition to Plovdiv County, the Regional center for Transfusion Hematology in Plovdiv services also the counties of Pazardzhik, Haskovo, Kardzhali and Smolyan, meaning that it supplies the hospitals situated on 1/5 of national territory with safe blood and blood products.

Volunteering for blood donation is a life-saving issue for many people. In addition it can improve and speed up the therapeutic process for others. Actions like this one bring more people closer to the ideas of charity, mercy and doing good.

We express our gratitude to our employees who stayed no indifferent to this initiative and its importance for others and proved that doing good for others can be contagious. Let them serve as an example so that the number of volunteers to donate blood could keep growing higher and higher.
