Chipolino participated in the largest-scale-ever initiative for cleaning Plovdiv
The Clean Green campaign took place on April 2nd and was conducted in all 6 town areas of Plovdiv at the same time.
Chipolino’s team was responsible for the Rowing Canal vicinity and we cleared this area from a considerable amount of waste, making it a cleaner place for walks and recreation. Our employees wore T-shirts specially designed and made for the campaign in green and white, the green welcoming the spring-bearing freshness and the white symbolizing the cleanliness that this initiative was targeted at. The clothing was also stamped with the campaign logo to make it popular among the citizens. The company also provided part of the prize fund by giving out 12 vouchers each worth BGN 100, which were randomly distributed to persons who took part in the campaign.
The participation of Chipolino in Clean Green was intended to be a lot more than just a one-time contribution to cleaning the city but also to raise the public awareness by emphasizing on the need to throw away waste at the designated places, to preserve the green areas, which in turn ensure health and physical activity.
We believe that change is not so much about enormous efforts but about a small step that every one of us makes. We believe the places for recreation and the green areas are especially important for the youngest members of our families who give meaning and inspiration to our work and being. We address all people with the appeal to throw away the garbage in the designated places and to keep and clean the places for walks and recreation in the city today because they will be important for our children tomorrow!
