[/caption]Hi,A unique interactive exhibition for kids called Museum Kids Playground was inaugurated for the youngest visitors of Blagoevgrad Regional History Museum. The exhibition is targeted at kids aged 3-12 years. They will have the opportunity to be archaeologists, biologists and researchers not only in a simulation game but also for real. The youngest visitors of the museum will make excavations, restore copies of prehistoric pottery and recognize birds and animals. The exhibition’s unconventional format will certainly be interesting to their parents as well.The exhibition is organized as part of the project “Improving the work of Bulgarian museums with children and young people”. The project is part of the initiatives of the Blagoevgrad Regional History Museum dedicated to the celebration of European Heritage Days.The initiative of the European Heritage Days was launched by the Council of Europe and is a joint action of the Council of Europe and the European Commission. Usually, new cultural assets are put on view and historical buildings that are normally closed to the public are opened up to celebrate European Heritage Days . Thus citizens in countries across Europe celebrate Europe’s cultural, natural and historical heritage.
